In Short

My name is Alexandra Soerensen, and I am working as a freelance translator for German and English, offering translation and subtitling services from English to German and vice versa as well as proofreading in both languages. I am very reliable and perfectionist (good for me, perfect for you), and deliver quality work on time and with a very quick turnaround.

Motivation

I have worked on various international projects and with colleagues from different countries. Bridging the gap between languages (and often cultures) has been a part of my business and personal life for so long that it was the logical next step to freelance in this area of expertise. I enjoy the daily challenge, the variety, and the privilege to be able to do what I love.

Former Work

Prior to starting this business, I have worked as a Project Assistant for PricewaterhouseCoopers and the newspaper publisher Axel Springer AG, as a Producer for Yahoo!, and most recently as leading Quality Assurance Manager for the media company ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG. Every job proved to be an invaluable experience and enrichment that influences my work to this day.
